Visa or Mastercard

We guarantee that every transaction carried out at ROSA GARCIA CONFECCIONS is 100% secure. All transactions involving the transmission of bank details are carried out using a secure environment, using a server based on SSL (Secure Socket Layer) standard security technology. All information transmitted to us travels encrypted through the network.

Added to that, the data on your credit card is not registered in any database but goes directly to the POS (Point of Sale Terminal of the Bank).

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that in an effort to provide greater security to credit card holders, we have incorporated the secure payment system known as CES (Secure Electronic Commerce) into our payment gateway. Thus, if you have a “secured” card, you will always be able to make payments with VISA or MASTERCARD at our shop.

When paying with a VISA or MASTERCARD card, you will always be asked for the following information: the card number, the expiry date, and a Validation Code that coincides with the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD card, thus offering more guarantees on the security of the transaction.

What is CES (Secure Electronic Commerce)?

CES is a system for securing Internet transactions promoted by Visa International, Mastercard, Microsoft and Netscape, among others. The main aim is to provide greater security both to Internet users and to businesses that use the Internet to authenticate the buyer as the legitimate holder of the card they are using.

In practice, when paying with a “secured” VISA or MASTERCARD card, you will be asked, in addition to the name and expiry date, for a personal password for exclusive use for Internet purchases that unequivocally identifies you as the owner. In this way, no one will be able to make a purchase on the Internet if they do not know the password. You will be able to distinguish whether the Secure Electronic Commerce protocol is activated by the VISA “Verified by VISA” and Mastercard “Mastercard Secure Code” logos.

If you have not yet received a personal password for exclusive use for Internet payments, we recommend that you ask your financial institution to add your cards to the Secure e-Commerce service. To do this, you can contact your bank or, if you are an electronic banking customer, you can ask for it online directly.
